Try Dropbox – get 250 MB bonus
Dropbox is a great tool to store, synchronize and share your files. Think of it as a free USB flash stick on the web. It’s perfect if you’re working collaboratively on files or just need a simple and easy way to synchronize stuff across multiple computers.
Here is what Dropbox says about itself:
Dropbox is a free app that syncs your files across your computers and the web. It’s available for Mac, Windows, and Linux. After installing, you’ll be able to:
- Make changes on one computer and see them instantly on others.
- Get to all of your files from anywhere you have Internet.
- Collaborate on team projects or share your files straight from your computer.
- Restore files you’ve deleted, or go back to previous versions.
I highly recommend giving it a try. The free version gives you 2 GB of storage, which is plenty for standard things like text or code files. If you use this referer link you (and I) get 250 MB bonus, so about 2.2 GB total.
(Plus, they use super-cool illustrations like the one above.)
